For a family of six, every square foot matters in this midcentury located in Malibu, California. The home was originally constructed in the 1970s. The entire interior was remodeled while preserving architectural details like wood ceiling beams and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors. BDG designed each space to be efficient so that every family member could fit comfortably in any room of the house.

A classic, all-white kitchen with plenty of natural light was outfitted with modern furnishings and inventive lighting, while the airy loft space became a comfortable master bedroom. The home is the epitome of indoor-outdoor beachside living, a perfect fit for the homeowners and their children.
