When a Los Angeles couple decided to remodel their kitchen, they called upon Brown Design Group to take the lead. The existing space was dark and closed off, lacking the airy and comfortable feel the couple envisioned. Brown Design Group gutted the entire space, removing an island that divided the kitchen and dining room to create openness and allow for a breakfast nook.

Dishes stored on open shelves create a refreshing visual element in constant rotation. Furniture with straight, clean lines and simple shapes balance gracefully together with white lacquer, dark wood, and brass finishes. Architectural details, such as the wall paneling and fretwork design on kitchen cabinets, add elements of refined style. Timeless vintage and modern pieces pair together in a soothing juxtaposition, resulting in a space that is open, bright, and inviting.
